And so, after a lifetime of getting away with, well, EVERYTHING--rape, tax fraud, witness tampering, cheating sub-contractors, money laundering, cozying up to the MOB, lying about, well, EVERYTHING, strong arming everyone, and, of course, TREASON, TREASON, TREASON--Donald J. Trump finds his pendulous teats in a wringer.

This must come as a "yoog" shock to a career criminal.

Honestly, when you've skated away from serious charges your entire life, you must think of yourself as bullet proof.

The idea that you're finally going to face the music is incomprehensible. It's unbelievable! It just can't be!

But it's where Donald J. Trump now finds himself. 

Some of his enablers--the smarter ones--are falling all over themselves in the rush to turn on him.

He will face endless prosecutions.

With any luck, ALL of his assets will be RICOed.

And, fingers crossed, he will take at least 3 members of his immediate family, and many Republicans, with him.

These are all good things.

Now, were he Japanese, and honorable, he would, at this point, be at least considering seppuku. Melania would be happily sharpening the knife even as we speak. And the line to deliver the final coup de grace would be long, and giddy with anticipation.

Alas, he is neither Japanese nor honorable.

He is, instead, a toxic narcissist, who believes he is smarter than any lawyer or judge. Handsomer than any Hollywood star. Richer than Croesus. Braver than any soldier. Wiser than, well, ANYONE on the face of the earth. 

All of the bluster, all of the threats, all of the increasingly deranged posts on Truth Social, will fall on deaf ears. Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Jack Smith is knocking at the door, and only the craziest, hardcore MAGAts remain by Trump's side.

Random Thoughts On A Lovely Autumn Day

Why does Tucker Carlson always look constipated? Hasn't he heard about laxatives? Or is just that he's so constantly, totally, full of shit that nothing will help?

Republicans don't want to do away with racism. They want to do away with teaching about racism. And that will make it all better.

It's a shame that Don the Builder couldn't get any infrastructure bills passed in 4 very long years. Imagine all of the Mob concrete and Polish scab laborers he could've used. #SAD.

A note to all of the anti-masker/anti-vaxxers who like to confront people: sooner or later you're going to pick on the wrong person and you're going to get seriously hurt or maybe even killed. Hopefully someone will be on hand to film it.

Is it really such a tragedy that the vast majority of people now dying from CoVid are Red State Loons? Is it?

What kind of people keep re-electing Paul Gosar? What has he ever done for his district? What legislation has he proposed to help Arizona, let alone the country? He's an idiot, a racist, a liar, and, most importantly, a traitor. I can only assume that his supporters have all of those characteristics as well.

Why some professional athletes, who have without a doubt been injected with all sorts of goodies by team doctors, for pain, for healing, for performance, should now balk at a simple poke in the arm to keep them and those around them safe from a deadly disease, is one of the great mysteries of the modern world.

There is no cure for stupid. And when you mix it with ego, it can be deadly.

What Happens To A Useful Idiot Who Becomes A Useless Idiot?

Having served his Master's purpose, not wisely or particularly well--but wholeheartedly--Donald J. Trump finds, much to his surprise that his Master no longer has any use for him.

Oops.

This must be causing some concern in whatever parts of Traitor Don's brain that are still semi-functional.

All that treason for naught. #SAD.

Sure, he will sooner or later be confronted with a bevy of New York state charges. And there's a pretty good chance that he will face a few Federal charges as well.

Sure, he will probably lose everything.

Sure, his beloved (well at least one of them is beloved) older children may all go to prison, too.

But he's spent his entire adult life bullshitting in court, drawing out law suits, dissembling, lying, bribing, blackmailing, and threatening people.

And somewhere in that low wattage brain of his, he's no doubt convinced himself that he will skate once more. Because he always has before.

The thing is, though, that his Master doesn't care about any of that.

No, his Master plays a brutally straight forward game of Realpolitik. Not a lot of grey areas. Not a lot of nuance.

The question is, will his Master be content to bury him under an avalanche of the Kompromat that they've been collecting for many years?

Of course, it could be something more dramatic. More final. More in keeping with his Master's M.O.

So, my advice to Donald J. Trump is "Don't drink the tea."

Or do. No one really gives a fuck anymore.

Indefensible

Sometimes, when you go to the zoo, if the apes and monkeys are angry, they will fling their feces at you. (For any Trump supporters out there, feces means shit.)

Often, that's all they can think of doing when they get really, really agitated.

I was reminded of this today while watching clips of the Republicans questioning three noted law professors regarding impeachment.

Since their Orange Pig God has indeed committed various impeachable offenses, despite their loud, incoherent, spittle flecked protestations to the contrary, their position is completely indefensible.

So, as their meager deflections and inane arguments fall apart, there is absolutely nothing left for them to do but to start throwing shit, like the lesser primates they so eerily resemble.

Soon the Russian trolls and bots will no doubt join in and begin trying to slander each of the distinguished legal scholars as out of touch elitists, much to the delight of the "real Americans" who are quite comfortable in their bottomless pit of ignorance.

This is no doubt entertaining for their Oinker in Chief and his army of brain dead idiots, including the yes men and women at Fox News.

But it sure reflects badly on what our nation has become. One of our two main political parties has been taken over by some sort of brain eating prion disease.

*(By the way, what's the deal with all those medals the North Korean generals wear? I may not be up on my Korean history, but I can't think of a war that North Korea has been in in the last 64 years. So what were the medals awarded for? Participation? Like in kids' soccer? Here's a juice box, a graham cracker, and a nice shiny medal! Or maybe you just get one every year you manage to stay alive with a murderous psychopath in power...In that case, we should ALL be getting some soon.)

Donald J. Trump Is A Traitor

There really is no other explanation for his behavior.

He is scared to death of Vladimir Putin--probably for a variety of reasons. And as a result of this, he will do anything to make Putin happy--anything--ignoring whether or not it is counter to the interests of the United States and our allies.

If that isn't the definition of a traitor, it will do for now.

I'm old enough to remember when the Republican Party routinely smeared the Democrats as being weak on Communism, "fellow travelers" if you will.

Now, however, we find that almost the entire Republican Party and their soul mates at the NRA are in the bag for the Russians. Bought and paid for by Putin and his friends' money.

One important thing you need to understand about Donald J. Trump is that he is a pathological liar.

He cannot string more than two sentences together without lying about something.

He has surrounded himself with the kind of people who would steal the dimes off a dead man's eyes, because, well, he doesn't need them anymore.

Most of them are pathological liars, too. Birds of a feather, etc.

So, mix being a pathological liar with breathtaking narcissism, a seemingly uncontrollable sex drive, and throw in a desperate need for large amounts of money to maintain the illusion that you're successful, and one Donald J. Trump becomes a perfect target for an old KGB agent to turn. 

A useful idiot, to use a phrase popular with another Vladimir, Lenin.

A Russian stooge in the White House. Doing his boss's bidding.

Undermine NATO? Check.

Go out of your way to slight and demean our long time allies? Check.

Ignore warnings from all of our intelligence agencies, and consistently question the integrity of the FBI? Check.

Try to break up the EU? Check.

Turn a blind eye to Russian meddling in our, and other's, elections, past and future? Check.

Weaken sanctions against Putin's happy band of oligarch gangsters? Well, give him time...he's trying his hardest.

But do not hold your breath waiting for all of those "patriots" in the Republican Party to do something about it.

Because, quite clearly, they are traitors, too.
