Because we are all sick to death of politics and worrying about just how awful the next few months and years will be, (hint: pretty fucking awful--unless you're a rich, white male), herein follows my highly subjective list of favorite rock guitarists:
1. Jimi Hendrix
2. Bill Nelson
3. Pete Townshend
4. Mick Ronson
5. Prince
6. Neil Young
And then in no particular order: Joe Walsh, Jeff Beck, George Harrison, David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, Mike Campbell, Brian May, Billy Gibbons, Tom Verlaine, Paul McCartney, Mick Jones (Clash), Martin Barre, the Edge, Steve Hunter, Dick Wagner, Phil Manzanera, David Hidalgo, Nils Lofgren, John Lennon, Dave Davies, Ron Wood, Richard Thompson, Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, Robin Trower, Lindsay Buckingham, and Bruce Springsteen.
(I have to admit here that I haven't really liked Eric Clapton much since Cream, and, despite his obvious virtuosity, I never liked Jimmy Page much at all. The same applies to Eddie Van Halen.)
And, of course, we can't forget Chuck Berry, because quite simply there wouldn't be rock and roll without him.
Don and David. Just two guys from Arizona who tend to get a bit ticked off about all sorts of things. So we've decided we need somewhere to vent -- and we will vent about anything. Mostly politics, but we'll talk about books, music, movies and anything else that strikes our fancy. We're also pretty big Springsteen fans (especially Don) so you're likely to see some videos here.. We hope you will let us know your thoughts about our rants -- but we promise to treat you fairly.

Fun Games To Play Whilst Driving
Since gas is so very cheap, we will all soon be driving, driving, driving, to our hearts' content, even if we have, as Chuck Berry once said, "no particular place to go."
And since all that driving can be aggravating, boring, etc. we will need fun games to keep us engaged and not enraged.
Here are a few tried and true favorites of mine:
On the freeway, go ten miles over the speed limit and see how long it is before someone just has to pass you. Now go twenty miles over the speed limit.
Find a flashing red stop light and count the number of drivers who have no idea what to do.
Follow someone whose turn signal has been on for several miles and try to guess which street they will eventually turn at. Extra points if they end up turning in the opposite direction.
Keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you and count the micro-seconds before someone decides there is more than enough room to squeeze in between you.
Count the old men in sports cars. Extra points if it's a convertible. Double extra points if they're smoking a cigar.
And, for Phoenix area drivers only, find a safe place to park and watch the reverse lanes on 7th Avenue or 7th Street during rush hours. Makes NASCAR look like a bunch of old ladies driving in circles.
Happy motoring. Have fun and try to keep the pistol in the glove box, OK?
